Position Title: Quality Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:
* Execute departmental plans according to company policy.
* Monitor and provide feedback on the performance of Quality Inspectors.
* Implement training and maintenance of parts inspection and test equipment, ensuring calibration compliance.
* Submit accurate dimensions and gauges for inspection standards to the Quality Manager.
* Test products in the Quality Lab and train other inspectors.
* Approve or reject inspection reports based on receiving inspection data.
* Monitor product deterioration and request disposition of items not meeting standards, with approval from the Quality Manager.
* Accept (under concession) or reject non-conforming products, upon approval from the Quality Manager.
* Resolve customer and supplier discrepancies regarding non-conforming products.
* Maintain accurate documentation for company and customer requirements.
* Establish customer requirements for manufacturing new parts.
* Assist in collecting finances for non-conforming products, with approval from the Quality Manager.
* Evaluate the quality of new suppliers and complete relevant documentation.
* Develop guidelines for suppliers to improve quality through annual monitoring.
* Facilitate audits with third-party auditors and support the ISO Management Representative.
* Maintain ISO compliance within the department.
* Submit quality data, attend monthly management meetings, and act in the absence of the Quality Manager.
* Review and update external document lists for customer and industry standards.
* Assist with PAPP, CMRT, and EMRT submissions and approvals.
* Support inventory control through documentation and participation in inventory processes.
* Assume the responsibilities of the Quality Manager in their absence.
Requirements:
* Four-year degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering, Math, or Statistics.
* At least eight years of supervisory experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier to a Japanese Automotive Manufacturer.
* Three to five years of experience as a Quality Inspector or Supervisor in the automotive industry.
* OR, three to five years of supervisory experience in engineering and metallurgical testing.
* OR, three to five years of supervisory experience in the forming or cold forging industry.
