We are seeking General Practitioners who wish to consolidate their management of acute general medical and surgical patients in a dynamic 295-bed hospital environment.
The Role:
Casual or regular shifts 12 hour night shifts available now. Limited 12 hour days available.
Work available from February 2024 (booking soon).
Hourly rate of $150/hr inclusive of Super, exclusive of GST, plus 70% of billings. Average billing figures available on enquiry.
Role consists of standard ward medical and surgical ward HMO tasks and collaboration with VMO’s and nursing staff to ensure efficient delivery of high quality patient centred care.
As a MET first responder, you will assess and commence treatment on unstable ward patients, and elevate to the on-site ICU Senior Registrar as required.
Dedicated office with overnight facilities.
About You:
* Specialist AHPRA registration in General Practice*
* Available to work predominantlynights or some days (12 hours shifts)
* Have medical indemnity insurance with appropriate private cover
* Up to date vaccinations including COVID-19
* Able to provide 2 referees for hospital accredition
* *GP Registrars encouraged to enquire however differerent remuneration may apply
