Based in Leeton, the laboratory assistant conducts a range of tasks including sampling, equipment calibration, data recording and analysis of product samples to determine compliance to our rigorous quality specifications and food safety standards. Your responsibilities will include: Conduct chemical, microbiological, physical, instrumental, and sensory analyses on submitted samples. Produce accurate results while maintaining the sample turnaround time targets. Develop the required skill level in all analyses performed in the laboratory. Provide and maintain excellent customer service and satisfaction. Ensure a high degree of accuracy in your own work and contribute to team goals in a continuous improvement environment. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment including those in manufacturing plants. About You HSC or equivalent, this is an entry level role where you will be mentored and develop your skills. You love science and would love to work in this field. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent priority setting and time management skills.
