Our cliient has high aspirations for growth in the next few years, and we're looking for a Structural Engineer to join their Gold Coast team.
This is a rare opportunity to work directly with the Director and Principal Engineers, taking real ownership in the delivery of multi-storey and high-rise apartment projects from concept through to construction.
If you're currently in a larger consultancy and want strong mentorship, faster responsibility, and direct influence on design outcomes, this role is built for that step.
You'll support delivery of a pipeline of high-rise residential apartment and commercial buildings, with involvement across:
* Structural design and documentation for projects
* Coordination with architects, builders, and consultants to maintain programme and buildability
* Design development from concept through DA/BA, detailed design and construction support
* Engineering analysis and design (concrete, steel, timber)
* RFI responses, site queries, and construction phase problem-solving
* Producing clear calculations, sketches, and reports aligned to Australian Standards
What we're looking for
* 3–5 years local (or equivalent) experience in structural engineering
* Experience contributing to multi-storey residential / apartment projects
* Strong fundamentals in analysis/design and confidence communicating with stakeholders
* Proactive attitude—comfortable working in a small, high-performance team
* Familiarity with common structural tools (e.g., ETABS/SpaceGass, Revit) and Australian Standards
* Degree qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering
* Working toward CPEng/RPEQ (or keen to start the pathway)
