About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced couture seamstress to join our vibrant team in Adelaide. In particular you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
- Sewing and garment construction (by hand and by machine).
- Interpreting and understanding fitting notes and spec forms.
- Participating in couture fittings.
- Handling luxury fabrics.
- Quality control inspections of garments.
- Supporting the needs of the designer and team members.
Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in couture sewing/high-end garment construction within the fashion industry.
- Excellent eye for detail and quality control.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and demonstrate use of initiative.
- Proficiency with industrial sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques.
- Highly motivated individual who is passionate about our values and brand.
- Fast learner who shows initiative and can manage time-pressured deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team and assist wherever required.
