Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Accountant Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the financial reporting process, including the calculation, preparation, and posting of journals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the refinery month-end reporting process, including calculation, preparation, and posting of journals.
* Collaborate with the team to coordinate and manage the budget and 2-year plan process.
* Investigate variances, conduct analysis, and prepare meaningful commentary in support of month-end and planning submissions.
* Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
* Review and process inventory valuations.
* Provide specific financial and cost information for the refinery.
* Ensure accurate classification and treatment of capital expenditure and fixed assets.
