**About the role**
UGLs Manufacturing & Maintenance business are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager for a full-time permanent role based at our facility in Broadmeadow, Newcastle.
Reporting to the Production Delivery manager and working as part of our mining component solutions team, this role will support with off highway vehicle and general mining works projects.
The role is accountable for one or more service delivery areas within a production area to deliver safe, reliable and efficient production outcomes. This position is a champion for safety and has overall responsibility for the allocated service area(s)'s production performance and successful delivery of work to achieve performance targets as well as meeting commercial commitments to our customers
This role involves frontline interaction with other service delivery teams, other Business Area production teams, other Business Areas within UGL, contractors and, at times, directly with customers.
**About you**
- Trade qualification - Mechanical, Electrical or Fabrication highly desired
- Experience in supervising teams in a production/maintenance/engineering environment.
- Basic knowledge of SAP SAM Mobility to review and analyse production performance is highly desired
- Excellent customer relationship and people management skills
- Minimum trade experience 8-10yrs+ in a production/maintenance/engineering environment.
- Experienced gained in the mining, rail, automotive, defence, avionics or any other safety critical environment is preferred
