Job Title: Senior Sales Executive for Public Sector Solutions
About the Job:
In this dynamic and fulfilling role, you will be responsible for executing sales strategy across the full SAS portfolio in Public Sector. You will leverage your expertise to translate technical concepts into compelling sales stories that meet enterprise needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell SAS solutions to senior decision makers and align the value proposition with their business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to stay ahead of the curve.
- Understand SAS' pricing and licensing procedures to provide accurate information to customers.
- Uncover high-potential accounts and develop strategies to convert leads into sales.
- Collaborate with other sales professionals and teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and track satisfaction levels.
- Prepare quotes and proposal information, and work cross-functionally to create and finalize contracts and set delivery schedules.
- Travel as required (up to 30%) to meet with customers and prospects.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in software sales, with a focus on Public Sector.
- Ability to initiate and lead sales opportunities and relate technical concepts to customer needs.
- Analyze territory dynamics and develop sales plans that align with SAS capabilities and customer challenges.
- Growth mindset, creativity, and value-based selling approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or relevant field.
