Fire Protection Project Coordinator
About This Role
We are seeking a Fire Protection Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of fire protection projects. The successful candidate will provide engineering expertise, coordinate technical aspects, and ensure quality standards are met throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide engineering input into fire protection system design and installation
* Review drawings and design documentation to ensure compliance with codes, specifications, and project requirements
* Assist in coordinating suppliers, subcontractors, and technical documentation
* Track and monitor site progress to ensure technical accuracy and quality standards are met
* Conduct inspections of systems as required
* Assist with RFIs, technical queries, and compliance documentation
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and engineering data
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in construction, fire protection services, or a related field
* Knowledge of Australian Standards related to fire systems
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with site and office personnel
