relaxed elegance and lush surroundings, Swell offers a serene escape for both guests and team

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Landscape Gardener to join our team and
maintain our vibrant grounds, gardens, and outdoor spaces.
About the Role
This is a full-time, ongoing position responsible for the design, upkeep, and enhancement of the
hotel's landscaped areas. You will work hands-on to ensure the grounds remain immaculate, native, and aligned with our eco-conscious ethos.
Key Responsibilities :
Maintain all garden and landscape areas including lawns, hedges, trees, and flower beds
Prune and trim shrubs, hedges, and trees to maintain healthy growth and presentation
Weed control, mulching, soil preparation and fertilisation
Operate and maintain landscape equipment including mowers, trimmers, and irrigation
systems
Identify and treat pests, diseases, and plant health issues
Monitor and adjust irrigation systems to ensure optimal water usage
Assist in soft landscaping projects and seasonal planting

Requirements :
Minimum 2 year of full-time work experience as a Landscape Gardener or similar
In depth knowledge of plant care, pruning, soil health, and pest control, irrigation systems
Competence in using power garden tools and landscaping equipment
Must have vehicle large enough to transport new plants as well as clearance from the hotel
Strong physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
Good time management and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A strong work ethic and pride in delivering beautiful, sustainable outdoor spaces
Desirable :
Certificate III in Landscape Construction, Horticulture, or equivalent
Experience in subtropical or native landscaping
What We Offer :
Salary : $75000 - $78000 / per annum + Super
