About the Role
We are seeking experienced Security Supervisors to join our team at an internationally renowned education institution – Australian Catholic University (ACU) in Queensland (Brisbane).
This role is ideal for a career security professional who leads by example and is capable of working autonomously across a wide range of operational activities.
As a Security Supervisor, you will engage with clients, academics, students, and members of the public in a highly visible leadership role – providing professional information services while ensuring the safety and security of all people and property.
This is a Monday to Friday, day shift only role, offering consistency, stability, and a strong work-life balance, with the option for additional shifts when available.
You will also act as the primary liaison and be responsible for leading a professional team of Security Rovers, delivering accurate and timely responses to enquiries and incidents, while identifying opportunities to enhance operational performance.

In addition to the Supervisor role, we are currently seeking Casual Security Rovers to join our team.

Responsibilities and Duties
* Support, direct, and coordinate small to medium-sized teams, including incident and emergency management.
* Prepare and deliver shift operational briefs.
* Conduct foot patrols of the campus, observe and report incidents, and manage on-site responses.
* Ensure service delivery meets high-performance standards and contributes to ongoing operational improvement.
* Work in accordance with ACU and ACESGroup WH&S guidelines.
* Monitor facilities to reduce risk and ensure public safety.
* Prepare security records and incident reports.
* Manage and monitor facility access control systems.
Essential Criteria
* Previous experience supervising small to medium-sized teams
* Strong customer service skills with a customer-first mindset
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Professional presentation and demeanour
* Intermediate to advanced computer literacy
* Proven reliability and punctuality
* Full, unrestricted QLD Driver Licence
* Current QLD Security Licence
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Valid Working With Children Check
* RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) – Preferred
* Fire Warden qualification – or willingness to obtain
