Carer - Permanent Pool Morning Shifts Northern Suburbs
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to join our team in the Northern Suburbs. As a key member of our care team, you will provide individualised support and care to our residents, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting their overall wellbeing.
About the Role
The Multi Skilled Carer is responsible for assisting residents with their activities of daily living, including personal care, domestic tasks and social support. You will be cross-trained in different areas to meet the varying needs of our residents, ensuring that each person receives the highest level of care and support.
This is a part-time position working 60 hours per fortnight, with shifts from 7:00am to 1:00pm, Monday to Friday across various residential facilities in the Northern Suburbs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support resident's physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing through individualised care delivery
* Assist with resident's care needs in line with their care plan
* Collaborate with team members to promote a harmonious working environment
* Support and advocate the rights of older people
* Assist with personal hygiene, showering and toileting
* Assist with activities of daily living, dressing and grooming
* Assist at mealtimes including feeding
* Administer medication
Your Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. You will also require a strong understanding of the aged care sector and the ability to provide high-quality care and support to our residents.
