Aviation Leasing Expert
The Bureau of Meteorology is seeking a skilled Aviation Leasing Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Bureau's leasing activities related to the aviation industry, ensuring security of tenure for industry-funded operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Comply with all Bureau work, health and safety policies and procedures.
* Assist in planning and information gathering for aviation activities, driving the onboarding of new sites and ensuring valid lease and licence agreements.
* Lead negotiations for new leases, lease renewals, licence agreements, options, and market rent reviews to achieve the best outcome for the Bureau.
* Maintain accurate records and provide reports, adhering to set procedures and processes.
* Liaise with solicitors to prepare contractual documents and provide strategic advice to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in complex Commonwealth property leasing.
* Thorough understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the Commonwealth Property Management Framework.
* Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and team management skills.
