About The Role
We are seeking a talented Mid‐Senior Interior Designer who is looking for long‐term growth and development within the team. With a large pipeline of projects ongoing and incoming, this role is suited to an experienced and confident designer who can lead as well as manage a small team, ensuring delegation of tasks and timeliness of all projects. You will be a strong communicator with confidence in your client consultation skills, have a creative flair and stay abreast of popular trends and future design directions.
* Manage projects from initial concept through to completion
* Coordinate design and documentation
* Run large projects independently and lead the team
* Work efficiently under pressure and handle tight time‐frames
* Present, pitch and liaise with clients including 3D renderings, coloured floorplans and finishes boards
* Complete FF&E schedules
* Concept and preliminary design
About You
You are a dedicated and passionate designer eager to expand your skills and knowledge within large‐scale hospitality projects. You are a team player who can take on various projects from concept to completion, engage in regular workshops, and possess a confident and approachable personality with a thorough understanding of the D&C process.
* Minimum of 5 years experience
* Interior Design degree or equivalent
* Proficiency in Revit is essential
* Proven hospitality design experience
* Demonstrated understanding of the design, detailing and construction process
* Knowledge of Building Code of Australia and other industry regulations
