**What's on offer?**
As our Estimating Cost Manager, you will be responsible for cost management and governance, retail price management, and strategic execution across the Estimating Function. Your role is crucial in enhancing and protecting our margins, supporting and developing our retail systems, and working with our procurement team to develop supplier partnerships and methods of measure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead cost management and implement the Cost Management Framework
- Enhance customer purchase ease and support retail brand requirements
- Review and improve quality assurance processes
- Develop and mentor managers and emerging leaders
- Maintain data integrity within price database systems
- Communicate effectively with senior leaders and manage supplier relationships
**What can you bring?**
You will be a key enabler for our Customer, Retail, and Building teams, acting as an important communication conduit across various business functions to support best practice delivery. Effective communication and a proactive approach to continuous improvement are vital in this role to meet customer and business requirements. Your passion will support the delivery of our Functional Excellence framework while developing our people, culture, efficiencies, and collaborations to grow and enhance the business.
You will also have:
- High emotional intelligence and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience in estimating system management and cost management enhancements
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project/change management abilities
- Ability to collaborate and develop professional relationships
- Positive, organized, target-driven, and resilient
- Relevant qualifications in Building or related fields.
