We are seeking an experienced Clinical Governance Lead to help shape and lead this work across the organisation. Job Description About the role The Clinical Governance Lead is a senior specialist role responsible for clinical governance, quality, and clinical assurance across Kalyra. This is a non‑rostered, business hours role with organisation‑wide influence. You will work closely with operational leaders, quality and risk teams, and the Board to ensure Kalyra has strong clinical systems, clear policies, and effective oversight of clinical risk. You will lead the development and ongoing improvement of Kalyra’s clinical governance framework and support teams to apply it consistently in practice. Key responsibilities Design, implement and maintain Kalyra’s Clinical Governance Framework Develop and oversee clinical policies, procedures, and tools Provide clinical governance advice and support to operational leaders Oversight of SIRS investigations, including complex or escalated matters Monitor clinical trends, risks, and incidents, and recommend improvements Chair key clinical committees, including medication and infection control programs Oversee clinical training quality and competency assessment processes Prepare reports and insights for executive leadership, committees, and the Board Support continuous improvement and compliance with aged care standards Desired Skills and Experience What you will bring Essential Current registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA) Experience in clinical governance, quality, or clinical oversight Strong understanding of clinical risk, incident management, and quality systems Experience developing or interpreting policies, procedures, or legislation Ability to work independently and influence at senior and operational levels Desirable Experience in aged care or community care Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and SIRS processes Understanding of the new Aged Care Act and reform environment Experience supporting change and improvement initiatives Why join Kalyra?
