About the Role
Due to the upcoming retirement of a senior team member and a focus on business expansion, we are seeking a Senior Immigration Lawyer to join our leadership team.
We are looking for an experienced legal professional who shares our values and wants to make a meaningful impact during a pivotal phase of expansion and an exciting period of leadership renewal.
This role offers the right person the opportunity to take ownership, lead with confidence, and be part of something truly rewarding — with a pathway toward non-equity and equity Directorship on the horizon for the right candidate.
What You'll Be Doing
* Provide expert and strategic legal advice and assistance to clients across all areas of Australian migration law and practice
* Manage and execute complex visa applications and legal assistance matters independently
* Oversee junior legal, migration and admin staff, providing leadership, training and support
* Contribute to growth through business development, niche market targeting, and process innovation
* Maintain high professional standards, migration knowledge/expertise, client service and ensure compliance with all ethical and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
* Extensive legal immigration knowledge and experience
* Self‐sufficiency — this role is not suited to someone needing mentoring or regular guidance
* Strategic mindset with commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial edge
* Strong communication, interpersonal and client‐facing skills
* Multilingual skills are desirable but not essential

Reporting Line
This position works closely with, and reports directly to the Managing Director, providing leadership and guidance to staff across both migration and legal services.
