Job Summary:
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive records, ensuring our client's information is up to date. You will serve as a trusted resource for clients, answering queries and offering valuable insights into their financial data.
About the Role:
* Manage account payments
* Perform monthly account reconciliations
* Regularly perform bank reconciliations
* Assist with Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) and Business Activity Statements (BAS)
* Data entry and management
* Maintenance of computer-based administration file
* Maintenance of client files
* Processing and lodging Superannuation and Payroll
* Support and mentor junior bookkeeping staff
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing various bookkeeping tasks and providing backup support on administration tasks, contributing to a collaborative culture.
Requirements:
* 3+ years in a similar role
* Proficient in Xero
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Proven ability to effectively engage with clients and foster strong relationships
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
* Intermediate/advance experience with Microsoft Office packages
