Manager/ Associate Director, Business Valuations, Melbourne & Sydney
We’re building our Business Valuations team in Melbourne & Sydney and are looking for highly regarded professionals to join us. Our team is comprised of former Big Four professionals who provide the highest quality services to our clients, focusing on valuations for transactions, tax, financial reporting, insurance, and commercial purposes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver complex valuation projects, including the valuation of businesses, equity, and intangible assets, acting as a key day-to-day point of contact for client personnel.
- Suggest and interrogate robust valuation approaches for a range of businesses and intangible assets.
- Work with Managing Directors to develop and propose creative solutions to engagement and transaction risks.
- Supervise and support the development of junior team members.
- Support Managing Directors originate client work, prepare proposals, respond to clients, and prepare thought leadership and GTM materials.
- Assist with the development of best-in-class templates and ways of working, including the use of RPA / AI to efficiently deliver high-quality work.

About You
We’re looking for people with an entrepreneurial mindset who want to make a difference.
- As a Manager you’ll bring at least 5 years of skilled experience, including 3+ years Valuation experience at a Big 4 accounting firm. As an Associate Director you will naturally have more than this.
- A CA, CPA or CFA qualification.
- Experience with industry-standard research tools, such as CapitalIQ.
- Experience with data analytics and visualisation software (i.e., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
- Ability to travel within the country (where practical and possible).
- Experience and willingness to train and mentor junior members of the team.
