Job Description
This position plays a key role in the management of infrastructure planning and provides technical expertise in various areas, including road and bridge maintenance, traffic matters, and parking management schemes.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop annual programs of works for council assets by undertaking desktop assessments and preparing concept designs.
* Prepare project briefs for forward capital works including preliminary cost estimates.
* Undertake maintenance planning and provide advice to ensure high-quality services.
* Manage road and property matters, including acquisition and sale of land, road closures, signage, leasing, and applications.
* Manage paid parking and parking management schemes.
Requirements
* Degree in civil engineering or related field.
* Proven experience in infrastructure planning and management.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
