The opportunity
As our Consultant you’ll be working with global and local well-known organisations to advise them of their Indirect Tax obligations.
This is a hybrid position based in Meanjin – Brisbane. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
* Client Advisory & Risk Management : Use your indirect tax expertise to advise clients on transactions, manage tax risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Analytical & Technical Support : Conduct assurance and due diligence reviews, and contribute to data analytics and tax technology service delivery.
* Project Involvement & Innovation : Work across multiple clients and projects, leveraging emerging technologies to address key indirect tax issues and support client goals.
Skills and attributes for success
* GST Expertise in Professional Settings : Demonstrated experience in GST, ideally gained within a law firm or professional services accounting environment.
* Client-Facing Technical Work : Proven ability to handle complex GST matters and support clients in engagements with the ATO.
* Technology Application : Practical use of technology in previous roles, with examples of how it enhanced GST-related work.
