Permanent Roles - The Child Health and Parenting Service (CHaPS) North West are seeking suitably qualified Enrolled Nurses.

The Team:

* The Child Health and Parenting Service is the key provider of universal primary child and family health services in Tasmania.
* Work with Tasmanian Families with children from 0-5 years old to support parenting capabilities and contribute to child developmental outcomes.
* The Enrolled Nurse position will assist to deliver the Child Health and Parenting Service (CHaPS) Programs, working from a team approach, with training and development opportunities available to the successful applicants.

The Role:

* Assist in providing a service which is accessible, acceptable, and affordable to the target group and within available resources.
* Provide care that supports and assists children and families to work towards planned goals, including delivery of care in varied locations that support best possible outcomes (clinics, Parenting Centres, Virtual Care, client homes).
* Collaborate and co-operate with other team members to develop, implement, and evaluate programs which enable individuals to make informed choices about their health and the health of their families and the wider community.
* Deliver care in collaboration with the wider health care team, with guidance from Registered Nurses and based on the agreed goals developed in partnership with the family.

Details of appointment:

Multiple permanent, full-time and or part time, day worker positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from March 2026.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.*

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary:$73,109 to $80,524 per annum(Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type

You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

* Registered with the Nursing and Midwives Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse

Current Driver's Licence.

Current Working with Children Registration or Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People
