Job Description
- Lead financial reporting, compliance, and strategic planning
- Mentor a small finance team ASX Health industry
- Lead financial reporting and compliance in line with ASX and accounting standards
- Manage month-end, quarterly, and year-end processes, delivering Tier 1 financial statements
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support strategic decision-making
- Oversee financial operations including payroll, management reporting, and transactional accounting
- Manage external audits and ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness
- Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and risk management frameworks
- Lead and mentor a small finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Contribute to financial strategy and long-term value creation
About Our Client

The Successful Applicant
- CA qualification and a degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- 5+ years' experience leading end-to-end finance functions in a small to mid-sized business
- Robust technical accounting knowledge and financial systems experience (Xero, Accurri, Fathom, Phocas)
- ASX-listed reporting experience highly desirable, ideally in biotech, healthcare, or life sciences
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
