We are a specialist anaesthetic practice based in Ipswich. We are looking for an enthusiastic and well organised medical receptionist to join our team as a Practice Administrative Assistant. This permanent part time role will be suited to a candidate with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Our practice is dynamic and highly varied which provides team members with opportunities to continually develop their skills and ensures their work stays compelling. Our team is friendly, collaborative and supportive. Comprehensive training will be provided, to the successful candidate’s level of experience.
About the Role:
We are offering a permanent part-time position of up to 20 hours per week. While we are flexible and open to discussing specific days and hours, we do have a preference for candidates who are available at least on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
answering incoming calls and emails from patients, surgeon's rooms and hospital booking teams
managing theatre bookings and patient co-payments
attending to all aspects of anaesthetic billing
occasional front desk duties
About You:
You will need to be highly organised and have a high level of attention to detail. You should demonstrate that you take pride in delivering exceptional service, that you are able to multi-task, prioritise and be proactive in providing assistance and be a team player. Previous experience in an anaesthetic or specialist surgical practice will be highly regarded but is not essential. You must have proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
