Clinical Nurse – Mental Health and CADS. Salary: RN Level 2 $109,599 - $115,682 (plus 12% superannuation). Location: Geraldton. Unit/Division: WACHS - Midwest. Work Type: Fixed Term - Full Time. Position No: 00604161. Closing Date: 2026-02-13 4:00 PM. This is for a Fixed Term Full Time appointment at up to 76 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the Midwest Mental Health & Community Alcohol and Drug Service in Geraldton.
Responsibilities
* Knowledge of and experience with psychiatric disorders and treatment interventions, and principles of community based mental health care and illness prevention.
* Well developed written and verbal communication, negotiating and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work with clients from a variety of cultural and ethnic groups.
* A working knowledge of the WA Mental Health Act (2014) and other relevant legislation.
* Demonstrated ability to work with other health professionals with a multi-disciplinary team.
* Knowledge of computer applications, word processing skills.
* Eligible for / or in possession of a current C or C-A Class drivers' licence or other specialised licence class.
