Senior Governance Professional
We seek a strategic Clinical Governance and Risk expert to drive clinical excellence across our Residential Aged Care program.
This leadership role is responsible for ensuring compliance with aged care regulations, driving continuous improvement, and guiding the clinical team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor the clinical nursing and care team, fostering excellence in care delivery and professional development.
* Oversight of clinical governance, quality assurance, and risk management systems across residential and home care.
* Conduct thorough incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement effective preventive strategies.
* Foster a culture of dignity, safety, openness, and accountability through engagement with staff, residents, families, and external stakeholders.
* Facilitate training, capability-building, and change management aligned with aged care reforms.
* Evaluate and leverage technology and innovative practices enhancing care quality, safety, and service delivery.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in nursing, health management, or aged care leadership.
* Proven experience in clinical leadership, quality improvement, and risk management.
* Strong skills in incident investigation, clinical risk management, and data-driven improvement.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and organisational skills.
* Commitment to resident dignity, choice, cultural safety, and clinical excellence.
* Will to adopt technology and innovation in care and governance.
