About the role
Western Health are currently seeking applications for the 2027 Midwifery Bridging Program. Western Health has an excellent reputation for providing midwives a smooth transition to practice.
The Bridging Program is a 6-month program for midwives who will complete their Graduate Diploma of Midwifery in 2026, working 64hrs per fortnight (0.84FTE). Four intakes are offered in 2027 (February, April, July and September).

This program will be supported by Clinical Midwifery Educators and Clinical Support Midwives.
About you
To be considered for this role applicants (dependent on the category you belong to below) must satisfy the below:
* Must be a Registered Nurse undertaking the Graduate Diploma of Midwifery in 2026
* Must be registered with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife prior to commencement
* Must be eligible to work as a Registered Midwife in Australia
* Must have immunisation clearance prior to commencement
