MCC Group Pty Ltd is locally established civil construction and mining company servicing the Central Highlands and Bowen Basin, QLD region.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our ever-growing team. This role is based at a coal mine located near Blackwater, Qld. You will manage field crews, handle day to day logistics and maintain strong communication with clients whilst overseeing and managing various civil and mining scopes.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
* Must have a minimum 4+ years of civil and construction or mining management experience
* Sound knowledge of open cut mining, mine site services and safety procedures
* A positive attitude and passion for working on time critical tasks.
* Strong time management, organizational, and leadership skills
* Be able to work in a team environment and drive strong performance and a positive work culture
* Act as the single point of contact with the project's customer and your team onsite
* Setting up and conducting on-site risk assessments to ensure customer sites and company activity comply with SHMS requirements
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legislative requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain strong relationships with clients, internal team, and key stakeholders
* Adaptable to change and ability to manage challenging conditions
* Experience in managing large teams and driving a productive work environment. Experience in performance management and coaching for success
