Electrical Construction Supervisor

About the role
Enerven is working with global technology provider Fluence on the 500 MW / 1000 MWh Liddell Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project at Liddell Power Station, NSW. This significant project involves a grid-connected BESS and is part of Enerven’s large-scale renewable energy projects.
We seek an experienced Electrical Construction Supervisor to oversee design and installation of the BESS. Based at Liddell, this role emphasizes safety and effective management of electrical construction activities.
The role involves work across Hunter Valley with flexibility for other NSW projects, including various rosters. Reporting to the Construction Manager, responsibilities include:
1. Coordination of electrical and mechanical subcontractors
2. Inspection and approval of test plans
3. Management of Enerven equipment and cabling
4. Ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective site activities
5. Leadership and planning of works, including external contractors
6. Liaising with clients
7. Coordination with engineering teams for design changes
The workweek is typically 5.5 days (10-hour days) at Liddell, with overtime paid at double time beyond 37.5 hours. A company vehicle is provided. Relocation support is available for local or willing candidates.
About you
You should be an excellent communicator, capable of leading a team with a focus on safety, quality, and project delivery. Strong problem-solving skills and practical thinking are essential.
Requirements include:
* Extensive heavy industrial electrical construction experience, preferably in renewables or substations
* Knowledge of high voltage equipment and systems installation
* Substation experience is beneficial
* Leadership and supervisory experience
* Electrical Workers license
