Job Description/About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Depot Coordinator to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. You will be working closely with the Supervisor to acheive set business goals and objectives.
We are looking for a process focused individual with high level interpersonal skills, who can help build team-work, ensure WHS policies and procedures are adhered to, promote a culture of respect based on Rodsure Core Value's and continue to provide an outstanding services to our customers.
A typical day will consist of supporting a small tight knit team of Employee's and Subcontractors; ensuring they remain absolutely on point with our delivery schedules, timelines and KPI's.
This is a hands on role and will require you to be on the floor, coordinating, directing and assisting in the loading and unloading of parcel trucks. You must possess a current forklift ticket and open drivers licence. This role truly integrates with the indoor activities of the depot.
This is a fast paced business operating on a tight timeline and delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with building team and individual capability
* Assist Supervisor with daily performance of operational personnel – driving compliance and quality
* Support the daily coordination of driver runs and allocations
* Assist with the development/training and disciplinary action where required
* Support all areas of operations, re allocation of resources to assist in the prioritization of workload
* Actively participate and engage in company initiatives that contribute to improvement of the business
* Delivery of articles to assist with the 100% clearance of all product received
To be successful in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:
* Minimum 3 years experience in operations or transport industry, preferable in a similar role
* Intermediate computer literacy
* Strong communication skills and effective negotiation abilities
* A strong customer focus
* Able to multitask
* Licence to perform high risk work (forklift ticket)
* Current forklift licence of any class required
* Open Australian drivers licence required
* Class C open driver's licence required
