A pharmaceutical manufacturing company, based in Smithfield, is looking for an Accounts / Logistics officer for book keeping and for handling logistics, including dispatch of goods.
Responsibilities Involve:
* Data Entry: Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts using MYOB
* Shipment coordination: Manage all aspects of the shipping process, from coordinating with warehouse staff, to organising the shipments
* Documentation: Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documents, including customs paperwork, for international and domestic shipments.
* Client communication: Processing orders, and providing real-time updates on shipment status.
* Carrier relations: Liaise with carriers (air, sea, road) / co-loaders to book space, negotiate rates, and ensure smooth transit.
* Take direction and work closely with the Managing Director, and also coordinate with accounting and sales team
The candidate must have a tertiary degree in accounting and must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
