This is a hands‐on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example and building a strong, capable team.
Key responsibilities
* Lead a high‐performing store through visible, hands‐on leadership
* Drive sales performance, commercial outcomes and customer experience
* Coach, develop and inspire a consultative sales team
* Create a personalised, trust‐based customer journey the 'Sleepy's Way'
* Take ownership of store standards, daily operations and financial results
* Balance leadership, accountability and personal sales performance with confidence
About you
You are a people‐first leader with solid sales instincts and a consultative mindset.
Key qualities
* Have experience building trust in face‐to‐face customer environments (retail, service or advisory roles)
* Know how to ask better questions, listen deeply and guide customers toward confident decisions
* Are comfortable overcoming objections and confidently asking for the sale
* Bring energy, curiosity, initiative and accountability to your leadership style
* In a retailer where change is a constant, you role‐model and inspire your team to adapt and excel
* Are commercially minded and comfortable in a 7‐day retail environment with a rotating weekend roster
Preferred backgrounds
Experience in consultative, trust‐based environments is highly valued. We welcome applications from former health professionals, allied health practitioners, wellness specialists or anyone who has helped people make important, personal decisions.
