About the Role
As a Casual Patient Transport Officer, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients with various medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct patient assessments and interventions during transportation.
* Deliver high-quality patient care and treatment while en route.
* Foster positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders.
* Work independently, using problem-solving skills within established policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals.
To Be Successful
* You must possess a minimum qualification of Cert III in Non-Emergency Patient Care, Diploma of Nursing, or equivalent.
* Availability to work 10- and 12-hour shifts across 7 days is essential.
* Ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions is necessary.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
* Experience working in the NEPT sector in a similar role is desirable but not mandatory.
* Satisfactory completion of safety screening, including a current Full Driver's Licence, State driver history report, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and the right to work in Australia, is required.
