We are seeking a professional Liaison Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to drive successful engagement, delivery and adoption of communication initiatives for internal customers and target audiences.
The Liaison Officer will use their expertise and technical knowledge to understand business and technical issues and any impacts regarding proposed communication activities to existing business processes.
The role involves building and maintaining positive relationships across diverse teams and communities, providing insightful advice and practical solutions to support the successful delivery and adoption of programs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Demonstrated knowledge in communication activities, including planning, stakeholder engagement and consultation activities, within a large, complex organisation-wide environment.
* Ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships to support effective communication, including the ability to influence internal and external key stakeholders relating to complex and sensitive matters.
* Knowledge of and commitment to implementing departmental policies and procedures, including the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy.
The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder engagement skills, be able to build and maintain positive relationships across diverse teams and communities, and have a keen understanding of complex communication environments.
