Financial Operations Coordinator
We are seeking a meticulous Financial Operations Coordinator to oversee the Centre's financial activities, providing crucial support in budgeting, reporting, compliance, and day-to-day management.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage accounts payable and receivable, including childcare fees and supplier payments.
* Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant awards and entitlements.
* Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
* Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger entries.
* Monitor cash flow and support funding/grant reporting.
* Ensure compliance with ATO and regulatory requirements.
* Liaise with external accountants and regulatory bodies as needed.
Requirements
* Diploma or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance/accounting role.
* Familiarity with early childhood education funding processes is desirable.
* Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB).
* High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Current Working With Vulnerable People registration or willingness to obtain.
