Support Worker for Foster and Kinship Carers
Role Overview
This is a full-time opportunity to support foster and kinship carers across the South Burnett region, creating safe, stable and nurturing homes for children and young people in care.
Tradewind Australia partners with a respected community organisation to deliver this role within the Partners in Foster Care program.
About the Role
* Provide practical and emotional support to a caseload of foster and kinship carers.
* Work collaboratively with carers, Child Safety and other stakeholders to ensure children’s needs are understood and responded to.
Key Responsibilities
* Support carers to navigate complex situations, ensuring the best interests of the child are prioritised.
* Contribute to safe, stable and nurturing placements for children and young people by providing guidance and support to carers.
