Job Title: ITS Project Engineer
Description:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong understanding of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), traffic signals, and street lighting systems. With a degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, Control Systems Engineering, or a related discipline, you will lead the delivery of engineering aspects for ITS projects from design through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead project delivery: Ensure all deliverables meet time, budget, and quality targets.
* Tender development: Incorporate ITS design requirements, risk management, safety in design, and lessons learned into tender submissions.
* Project interfaces: Manage project interfaces with related works and internal/external stakeholders.
* Task allocation: Identify and allocate deliverables/tasks to the maintenance schedule baseline.
* Issue resolution: Troubleshoot delivery issues and escalate when required.
* Process improvement: Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives.
* Ongoing support: Provide ongoing support onsite project delivery.
About You:
* Degree qualification: Degree qualified in Electrical, Mechatronic, Control Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Experience: Demonstrated experience in ITS design, installation, operation, and troubleshooting.
* Technical expertise: Strong understanding of traffic signals, ITS, and street lighting systems.
* Scheduling skills: Skilled in scheduling, planning, procurement, and subcontractor management.
* Australian standards: Familiarity with TfNSW specifications and Australian standards.
