About the role

Based in Eagle Farm, you will cover a geographical area including Brisbane and surrounding areas, and you will offer excellent customer service to a range of clients in mobile and static refrigeration.
The role will involve routine troubleshooting, testing, repairs, service, and maintenance on refrigeration units, across a number of brands. This will also involve working in the field and being on a roster for on call work, although we would consider a technician who wishes to be more workshop based.
Key Responsibilities:
You will have experience in the refrigeration industry and the ability to work flexible hours as needed including participating in an on-call roster, along with the following skills and attributes:
1. A high level of communication skills (oral and written)
2. Knowledge of quality assurance procedures
3. Ability to take ownership of problems following through to resolution
4. Self-motivated individual who is proactive, professional, punctual, well presented with a can-do attitude
5. Ability to work unsupervised and be part of a close-knit team
6. Dedicated to high quality EH&S and Ethical standards
Requirements:
7. Experience with refrigeration and chiller systems and comprehensive systems and components - those with diesel engine experience will be highly regarded
8. Tertiary qualifications in Air Conditioning and refrigeration
9. ARC refrigerant handling license is a prerequisite
10. Current and valid Australian driver's licence
We will also look at applicants with the following skills/ trades:
11. Commercial refrigeration
12. Diesel fitter / mechanic with automotive air-conditioning skills – would be a bonus
13. Automotive mechanic & Auto electrician
14. Refrigeration apprentice third year
