Are you passionate about baking from scratch and ready to showcase your skills in a busy retail environment? Romeo's Retail Group is seeking an experienced Baker to join our team at our Doonside store.
This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified baker who takes pride in producing high-quality, fresh products made from scratch for a retail bakery.
About the Role
You will be responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting a wide range of baked goods from scratch while maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, and consistency in a fast-paced retail setting.
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Certificate III in Baking (required)
* Minimum 3+ years' experience baking from scratch, ideally in a retail bakery environment
* Strong knowledge of bakery equipment, production processes, and dough handling
* Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards
* Formal food safety certification (required prior to commencement)
* Strong time management, organisation, and teamwork skills
* A proactive, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work
* Flexibility to work rotating shifts and varying start times
* Australian work rights (required)
