As an experienced Produce staff member, you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide customers with a pleasurable shopping experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Excellent merchandising skills and/or willingness to learn
- Quality control, including stock rotation and waste management
- Adhering to strict quality control measures and food safety standards
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the produce department and surrounding areas
- Collaborating and working with the rest of the team to ensure effective operation
- Assisting customers in selecting premium products, providing product knowledge and excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Produce retail or grocery setting.
- Knowledge of produce, including seasonal product supplies.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as work harmoniously with other team members and take initiative as needed.
- Strong communication skills: Ability to build rapport with both customers and team members.
- Previous experience in customer service with POS / register cashier an advantage but not essential.

We are looking for a Casual or Part-Time Employee who has flexibility to work a variety of shifts. This includes possible early morning shifts (starting around 6 am), occasional weekends and possible Thursday & Friday evenings.
