WHAT ARE WE OFFERING
Join the Central Sterilising Supply Department (CSSD) with Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network as a CSSD Technician in our casual and temporary employment pool. This is a great opportunity to gain experience across multiple sites supporting sterilisation services that are essential to patient safety and quality care. Working as part of a collaborative team you'll perform a variety of sterilising duties ensuring that equipment and instruments are decontaminated, packaged, sterilised and available for clinical use.
Applicants can choose to work at one or multiple sites within Sterilisation Facilities across Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network.

Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (BHFLHN) serves 40% of the population of country South Australia, including the Barossa, Gawler district, Adelaide Hills, Southern Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island. HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE
12. Perform decontamination, cleaning, preparation and packaging of medical instruments in line with policies and infection control standards.
13. Operate and monitor sterilising equipment, report faults and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
14. Maintain accurate records, manage stock and supplies, and contribute to efficient workflow within CSSD.
15. Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to support patient care and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

20. Be immunised and comply with our vaccination and screening policy.
21. Undergo employment screening as per role requirements.
22. Have completed AQF Certificate III in Sterilising Technology.
