Your new role
As the Site Manager, you will be the single point of responsibility on-site, overseeing day‑to‑day operations, subcontractor management, programme delivery, safety, and quality. You will lead with confidence, ensuring your project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, team-driven environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality multi-residential outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight
* Manage and supervise all aspects of on-site construction from start to completion
* Ensure works align with project plans, specifications, and programme targets
On-Site Leadership
* Lead and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site personnel
* Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive site culture
Programme & Budget Control
* Develop and manage short-term construction schedules
* Track progress and costs to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery
Quality Assurance
* Maintain high-quality standards across all trades
* Ensure strict compliance with building codes, regulations, and architectural details
Safety Management
* Promote and enforce a zero-harm safety culture
* Implement site-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures
Communication & Reporting
* Provide regular updates to senior management
* Liaise with consultants, suppliers, inspectors, and local authorities
Problem Solving & Documentation
* Address design, materials, and sequencing issues proactively
* Maintain detailed site records, daily logs, and RFI documentation
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Solid residential construction experience, ideally in multi‑unit or townhouse developments
* Excellent programme management from writing it up through to final delivery.
* Proven experience delivering 80+ unit townhouse projects or similar
* Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and compliance requirements
* Solid understanding of budgets, cost control, and programme management
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Proficiency in construction software (Procore, MS Project, DataBuild, Onsite Companion - advantageous)
* QBCC Site Supervisor Licence (required)
