Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Employment Coach role located in Redbank Plains, QLD. The Employment Coach will support individuals in securing and maintaining meaningful employment through career counseling, skills development, and ongoing mentoring. Responsibilities will include assessing clients' skills and needs, developing tailored employment plans, building relationships with employers, and providing support with resume writing and interview preparation. You will play a vital role in empowering individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Qualifications
* Experience in career coaching, counseling, or related support roles
* Proficiency in career planning, resume writing, and interview preparation
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build effective relationships
* Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of clients
* Familiarity with local employment trends and networks
* Understanding of the challenges and barriers individuals face in accessing employment
* Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field is highly desirable
* Experience working with diverse populations, including young people and families, is an advantage
