Overview
This is a permanent full-time position for a Mathematics Teacher at Hammond Park Secondary College, commencing Term 1, 2026.
The salary range is $85,610 – $124,046 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2023).
The School
Located in Hammond Park, the college opened in 2020 for Year 7 students and has facilities including classrooms, a library, student services area, arts, science, design and technology facilities, a gymnasium, a cafeteria with indoor/outdoor seating, and landscaped spaces.
The successful applicant will foster positive relationships with students, staff and the community and contribute to the college culture.
Hammond Park Secondary College operates with an Instructional Framework, a Performance Growth and Coaching Framework, and a Wellbeing Framework based on PERMAH principles.
The college emphasises wellbeing for staff and students and a culture of coaching and feedback.
There is a potential 12-month fixed term 1.0 FTE Mathematics Teacher position that may be considered for suitable applicants.
Responsibilities and Role
The successful applicant will:
build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders including students, staff and the community
collaborate to create innovative learning opportunities and contribute to a positive college culture
engage with the college's Instructional, Coaching and Wellbeing frameworks and participate in observations and feedback in a supportive environment
Other duties align with the Department of Education expectations and the college's frameworks.
Qualifications and Experience
The role requires an eligible teaching qualification and registration and the ability to teach Mathematics.
