We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at a thriving shopping centre in Canberra.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing services within the shopping centre region, including OHS&E, Risk Management, Building Compliance, and essential Services.
Key responsibilities include planning repair, maintenance and upgrading works to meet customer and retailer requirements, periodically generating a plan for operations management at the Centre over the long term, identifying opportunities to enhance the property through capital expenditures, engaging contractors to carry out projects and directing their activities, managing the interface between development and day-to-day operations, ensuring the Centre's daily cleanliness, security and repair is at the agreed standard, overseeing tenancy fit-outs, and responding constructively to customer complaints.
The ideal candidate will have appropriate tertiary qualifications in business administration, commerce, management, or operations management with a minimum of 3 years industry relevant experience, as well as knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management, knowledge of business, management principles and practices, and project management principles & practices.
