Your Key Responsibilities
As a leading economist, you will deliver real-world solutions across a wide range of public and private engagements, including:
* Conducting economic assessments and modeling on pressing issues affecting businesses and government in Australia and around the world.
* Performing cutting-edge economic appraisals, including cost-benefit analysis and economic impact assessments to inform decision making.
* Providing policy, strategic, and regulatory advice in key areas of the economy, such as energy, resources, trade, tax, human services, and the environment.
* Liaising with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive success.
You will also contribute to business growth by helping to develop new services, adopting innovative technologies, and activating ideas to propel our clients forward in a dynamic economy.
Skills and Qualifications
Here are the essential skills and qualifications we're looking for:
* Degree qualified in a relevant field with over 1-3 years of experience.
* Proven track record in client-facing roles, with excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to research complex issues and provide expert advice on policy, program guidelines, market trends, and industry practices.
* Experience in economic and policy analysis, economic impact studies, econometrics, cost-benefit analysis, and regulatory analysis.
