What You'll Be Doing
Provide contemporary comprehensive Specialist Anaesthesia services for optimal patient outcomes.
Provide and support training to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.
This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.

Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/careers/conditions/pages/default.aspx.
Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a General Practitioner, and GP Doctor in training and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.Joint Consultative Committee on Anaesthesia (JCCA) accreditation as GP Anaesthetist.Current employment arrangement or contract with a GP Practice in the Macleay Area and a commitment to continue to provide a substantial general practice service in the Macleay area.Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Anaesthesia at the role delineation of the serviceDemonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
