Protech is recruiting on behalf of our client operating in the Mackay region. Due to continued growth, we are expanding our team and seeking dedicated individuals to join us. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to upskill from Administration and progress into an Operator role.
Role: Administrator & Plant Operator (no experience required for the trucks, and full training will be provided)
Location: Boral Quarry
Work days: Monday to Friday
Work times: 6.30am to 4.00pm
Duration: Ongoing
Requirements
* Current Australian Driver’s Licence
* Reliable transport to and from work is essential
Key Responsibilities
* Operate Water Truck and Dump Truck, with approximately 50% of time allocated to administration duties
* Willingness to undertake training and VOC (no previous operating experience required – training provided for the right candidate)
* Weighbridge monitoring, including inbound and outbound truck movements
* General administrative duties, including email correspondence and answering phone calls
* Split time between office-based duties and plant operation

* Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and develop new skills
