B enalla Health seeks a suitably qualified and highly experienced Infection Prevention and Control Coordinator to guide the organisation's prevention and response.
This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Clinical Services, ensuring timely support for success.

Position Status: Part-Time (0.6 to 0.8 FTE)
* Demonstrate well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
* Articulate clear decision making processes.
* Knowledge and commitment to Quality Management and Accreditation processes.
* Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and independently.
* Understanding of the strategic direction of the health service.
* Ability to lead and manage change.
* Knowledge of National Standards, focusing on Standard 3, Preventing and Controlling Healthcare Associated Infections & Standard 4.
* Provide clinical education and information regarding infection control.
* Interpret Infection Control and Waste Management Standards, developing policies and procedures.
* Assess infection control practices, implement necessary improvements.
