An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
**Junior Planner** to join the Women's Apparel Merchandise Planning team. Reporting directly to the Senior Merchandise Planner, this role will see you assist the Senior Planner in forwarding planning and trading activities within our Women's Apparel department.
**THE ROLE**:
- Assist in establishing seasonal class plans for sales, stock, OTB, markdowns.
- In season trading: review current performance and recommend future replans to maximise sales and profit performance.
- Establish and maintain core item plans while ensuring optimal inventory levels are maintained.
- Assist in developing monthly option plans and buy quantities.
- Assist in managing the store gridding and allocation process based on store sales and capacity.
- Analyse size selling patterns to establish size ratios for forward stock commitments.
- Present at the weekly trade meetings, providing analysis and recommendations.
- Liaise with retail team on store needs and sales/stock opportunities.
- Liaise with Designers/Buyers on size, colour and related product analysis & OTB updates.
- Preparation and presentation of post seasonal analysis.
**THE REQUIREMENTS**:
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent in business, finance or fashion.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a Merchandise planning environment
- Proficiency in all MS Office Programs
- Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
- An understanding of market trends/store demands
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail skills
- The ability to work well within a team
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Time management and prioritization skills
